| ABOUT US The Cast Iron Fireplace Company.co.uk Ltd is a one-stop shop for fireplaces and stoves. Browse our online store (or visit our show area) for all your fireplace/stove needs – from fireplace surrounds to stoves and care products – and our HETAS-registered, professional installers can fit stoves, fireplaces and line chimneys in your own home. Chimney relining and chimney diagnoses are additional specialist chimney reline services offered, using specialist chimney CCTV camaras. The Cast Iron Fireplace Company are able to find out where chimneys are blocked, what size flue is needed and have all the solutions to fix leaking chimneys. The company was started by Barney Dorman, who has a great passion for fireplaces and wood burning stoves, and his wife Bianca Dorman in 2006 with a shop in Teddington. In 2007, Barney and his team moved the business to new premises in New Malden where there now is a large display area. The business has grown with every year, now employing 7 staff and covering an installation area that includes Greater London, Central London, Reading, Guildford, Swindon, Crawley and more. In 2011, the Cast Iron Fireplace Company was a finalist for three Kingston Business Awards: Entrepreneur of the Year for Barney Dorman, Best Business Award, and Best Business for Sustainability, Winning the Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2011. It has also been nominated for South London Business Awards: Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2012. In August 2012 the company plans to launch its much anticipated log delivery company called www.log-delivery.co.uk, where it will offer a 3 hour arrival time on the weekends to its London based customers, national customers will be able to choose am or pm. Director Barney is committed to his business and on weekdays can either be found chatting to customers in the showroom, developing the websites and new business ventures or driving to site surveys on his motor bike. But on the weekends, he downs tools to spend quality time with his wife Bianca and two children.
