Delivery details
All our Cast Iron Fireplaces, Stoves and other Palleted items are all delivered for free to England and Wales Mainland.
We deliver to all parts of the UK and Europe. We normally send out our goods within 3-5 days of the order being processed. If you are outside England or Wales you may have to pay an additional fee to have the goods delivered - we will advise this when the order is processed, or you can call us prior to ordering. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery in the unlikely event that we are out of stock of the goods ordered. The products will then be dispatched as soon as our suppliers restock. Your statutory rights will not be affected.
Free deliveries are between 9:00am and 5:30pm and customers must be available to take delivery. We will contact you to arrange dates that are good for you.
The goods can be very heavy, if you are ordering fireplaces or stoves you will need a minimum of 2 people to carry the goods into your property if you don’t have a facility to store the pallet in a driveway or garage. The pallet will then be left with you to dispose of accordingly.
If in the unfortunate situation that you are not present for your delivery, your item will be held at a local depot for 5 days. The driver will leave a card with instructions for you to call to rearrange a new delivery. If it exceeds 5 days then we will contact you with the re-delivery charge when we are advised by the carrier.
For local deliveries we use our own vans, however, for most of deliveries we use Palletways. We also use other delivery companies to deliver our goods. Please be aware that our drivers are not insured to enter your premises. All palleted deliveries can only be delivered to the outside of your property.
We advise that you do not book your fitter to arrive on the same day as the delivery, due to situations out of our control, for example, traffic, weather, goods damaged in transit. We do not accept responsibility of any costs incurred for pre-booking fitters.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check the measurements carefully, if you need any help please contact us.
If you would like to order a clay firebrick, ashpan, or gas burner as an extra, please purchase these at the time of ordering as we do not sell these separately as standard. Additional postage of £15 will be charged to deliver these via a specialist carrier provider. Cast iron fireplaces and inserts come with a cast iron fire back as standard, which is suitable for solid fuel and gas fires. For solid fuel, we do advise buying a clay fire brick.
Please note
Our warranty does not cover consumables that are worn through use. This includes firebricks, stove ropes, stove glass, fire cements and grates. These parts naturally deteriorate from usage. Normally they will be fine for a period of 2 years, however, through overheating and excessive use they may deteriorate at a quicker rate.
Finishes also deteriorate with usage and can need sealing and cleaning as appropriate. Cast iron can need blackening with black grate polish, highlight and full polish finishes need to be regularly oiled.
