How regularly do chimney flue linings need sweeping, just once or twice per year? Should this be by a NACS registered chimney sweep?
We are happy to say that this is now been changed to a recommended minimal of once per year. If you are a heavy user meaning you are using the stove all day, every day through the winter burning lots of stove wood or firewood for your open fire then you should be sweeping twice per year.
