What are smoke free fuels?
An authorised Smoke Free Fuel has to pass numerous tests to confirm it is capable of burning in an open fireplace or multifuel stove without producing smoke. A list of these fuels can be found on the website http://www.uksmokecontrolareas.co.uk or purchased smokeless fuel from our website.
Smokeless fuels take a little longer to light, but need less refueling once they get going. Normally very 2 - 3 hours between loading. Compared to wood of which needs refueling every 45 mins to an hour and a half period.
