Operation Guidelines
475°F or higher (250°C): Wasting energy, safety hazard. High temperature may be reached on initial firing, but not advised for continuing operation. Could ignite existing flue creosote.
SAFE OPERATING TEMPERATURE
230°F to 475°F (110°C to 250°C): Good combustion and best efficiency.
230°F or lower (110°C): Burning too cool. Incomplete combustion causing smoke, soot, and hazardous creosote. Open the air vent or add dry fuel. |
