Carbon Monoxide is a silent killer, and with no smell or evidence it can send you into a deep sleep from which you will never awake. This Carbon Monoxide (CO) can be a result of a faulty appliance, blocked flue, etc.

Why do I need it?
The latest change to Section J of building regulations have now been updated for release in October 2010 - therefore every solid fuel installation needs to have a CO detector. They have to meet a certain standard (long lasting battery life, audible warning, failure indicator) which these do.

The FireAngel brand is a respected brand within the industry. These CO detectors are also the only ones recommended by the fire brigade.

Specifications
Alarms emit at 85dB at 1m away.
Both have a 7 year sealed battery.
CO-9D is a digital display unit, indicating the CO level, bar graph indicating risk and room temperature.
Both alarms emit a ‘low battery’ bleep.

The digital display CO-9D alarm can be used as a portable alarm, so installers can test for CO prior to working in a property.
High risk groups include children, unborn babies, pregnant mothers and the elderly.
Both alarms have a test facility button.
