Frosted Glass Hearth - 69HF
If you are buying a stove under 5kW you will be able to use one of our glass hearths, also known as glass plinths. They are beautiful and functional, as they have a seal around the edge to stop dirt going underneath. Our manufacturer is the only manufacturer we know of that has the seal around the edge of the glass plinth. Before now we have not included them in our range of hearth products because they require very difficult cleaning almost straight away after your first fire. Our glass hearths are not like this and have a seal around the edge, which stops dust, ash from your stove and general fluff from getting trapped underneath your hearth.
Having a glass hearth means that you can have a stove installed on top of your wooden flooring in your home, making your stove the centre of attention.
They are also 13mm height above floor level which conforms to building regulations. Many glass hearths for sale in the UK are from Europe, where the regulations are different, many are only 8mm above floor level. These hearths can not be used in the UK, our hearths conform to building regulations and are a must for all free standing stoves.

These hearths come with a rubber gasket ‘L’ shaped roll created to prevent ash, coal dust, debris etc. from getting under and between your hearth and the floor.
To set up the roll simply push under the front until it is flushed against your hearth. Then follow it round the entire perimeter and you're ready to keep the floor sealed from dirt.
Nowhere else have them. A very useful extra making this hearth a must have! |
