Our Premium Firewood Seasoned Logs are made up of both Hardwood and Softwood and come in 1.2m3 loose bulk bags and are the best firewood split logs.  They are under, on average, 25-30% moisture content. The seasoned logs should be removed from the bag and stored in a dry ventilated space.  Seasoned logs are the best firewood to save you money.  After keeping them under cover and well ventilated for around 4 months, they will be dry and ready to use. Our Bulk bags are larger than standard builders bags of logs, beware of people selling these as you get less seasoned wood! All the wood is made up of Hardwood and Softwood and is sourced from sustainable British forests and woodlands making it perfect for burning on your woodburning stove or open fireplace. We supply our Seasoned Logs in small bags or 1.2m3 bulk bag with top cover. Small bags are available to collect or palletised to either 40 or 80 bags. Our logs are cut to lengths of 25cm Calorific Value: 3.2kw/kg Delivery is normally within 3-5 days, we use the pallet ways network. What are seasoned logs? Seasoned logs from us are part dried out for around 6-8 months, this is why sometimes they will arrive and they will be fine to use in a few weeks.  However we say you should expect to dry them out for a further 4 months just to make sure your logs are as dry as possible.   How to light Seasoned logs First dry out your logs in a log store or similar dry, ventilated area. Use at least 2 firelighters and dry kindling (5-8 pieces will create lots of heat to warm the flue).  Do not use newspaper as kindling as it creates smoke and does not heat the flue properly. If using a stove, leave the door slightly ajar to help get more air to the kindling, then once ignited the door should be closed. You now have enough heat to add smallish seasoned logs. Close windows in the room if wide open as any draught through the house can affect the flow of air, especially if it is windy outside. Where to store your Seasoned Logs Seasoned logs should be stored in a well-ventilated space and under cover.  See our log stores for the best log stores available.
