Barney
Barney is the Director and driving force behind the company. He started the business with a passion for cast iron fireplaces with his wife 8 years ago. Barney says “I love making fire and helping people have a safe fire in their home is what we are about”.
He is the company’s technical advisor and conducts many of the site surveys on the company survey motor bike. Being fully HETAS registered himself, he can be found helping out on site from time to time as cover for the fitters.
The picture shown is of Barney and Tasha, one of the owners of the house where The Cast Iron Fireplace Company was filmed in 2008 for Property ladder. The well-known Channel 4 program was aired back in June 2009, he has since aged a little after having 2 children and this was the best image of him we could find!
Barney works every hour possible Monday to Friday but at the weekend his is catching up with his family and friends.
