Josh
In 2010 we approached the Logistics Apprenticeship Scheme to help us find an apprentice who we could train up to help us with our logistic side of the business and we narrowed down our applicants to Josh who has been with us ever since.
Josh has had a lot to learn during his time with us and has done very well in joining the team and taking on additional tasks. Josh looks after internet delivery’s and making sure the chimney engineers and wood burning stove fitters know where they are going and what they are to do. He orders all the equipment and manages our stock levels, as well as answering the phones and giving advice to customers. We really threw him in at the deep end during peak winter season 2010/2011 and he is now the better for it!
Josh is a friendly guy and is always at the end of the phone to help customers book a survey or answer questions on our products. Josh manages the website too, updating it every day and monitoring prices to make sure we offer great value. Josh works long hours and is a real help in the office supporting the director and Maureen, the directors secretary.
At the weekends Josh likes seeing friends, playing guitar and helping out at his local youth centre.
