For a stove fitter to be HETAS registered they must work for a period of two years for a Hetas registered company like ours before they are allowed to sit the practical and theory exam's. Our fitter’s differ from most stove fitting company’s, as we install all types of chimney lining systems, not just flexible liners. We use the best lining systems around to make sure that our customers get the best quality liners that will last.

As London is in a smokeless zone, lots of the stove we sell are smoke exempt, which means that they have been approved by Defra for burning logs in a smokeless zone. This means that they are more efficient at burning the smoke off, which means you get more heat from the stove into your living room. For a great example of a multifuel stove that can burn logs and smokeless fuel look at our Bohemia X range of stoves, they are very efficient and are Defra approved.
Over the last 5 years we have seen a large increase in the amount of wood burning and multifuel stoves being installed in London, Surrey and the surrounding areas. Our customers give us feedback that they want an alternative heat source that complements there existing heating set up and better still can replace it all together. Having a wood burning stove will save you money on your heating bills, as burning wood and smokeless fuel costs less than using gas or electricity to heat your home, especially as gas and electric prices seem to increase every year. On average you will save around £1000 per year on your heating bills, if you use your wood burning stove to heat your home.
We regularly install stoves on boats, narrow boats, wooden log cabins and summer houses, so if you would like help calculating the best stove kW output for the stove and want to make sure your installation conforms to building regulations advised clearance to combustibles then we are the stove fitting company to help you.
